On May 22-23,2024, the second plenary session of the ISO Technical Committee on Management Consultancy Services (ISO/TC 342) was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, with the participation of more than 20 experts from China, the United Kingdom, Austria, Hungary, Cyprus, Finland, Australia, and Kenya, as well as the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), the European Federation of Management Consulting (FEACO), and the ISO Technical Committee on Management Consultancy Services (CEN/TC 381).

Associate Professor Zhou He participated in the meeting and initiated the proposal of " Guidance on tools and methods for digital supply chain management consultancy " together with other Chinese experts, and at the same time accepted the questioning of experts from various countries.

Eight resolutions of the meeting were finally reached. One of the resolutions is to establish "research on supply chain management consultancy" (ISO/TC 342/AHG 2), and Zhou He was appointed as the convenor.

On February 13, 2023, the Technical Management Board of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TMB) issued Resolution No.8 of 2023, approving the establishment of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Management Consultancy Services (ISO/TC342), with China assuming the secretariat. Zhou He was invited to be a member of CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) Technical Committee on Industry Supply Chain Optimization Standardization and vice chairman of Supply Chain Group of Alliance of Industrial Internet, to convene the setting of supply chain related standards.
