On May 8, 2024, a book donation ceremony was held at SEM. Professor Kan Shi donated three books of his to SEM. Prof. Shi worked at SEM for many years, and the books he donated were his summarized research achievements during his years of work.

Prof. Shi is the first doctor of science in psychology trained by CAS, mainly engaged in industrial and organizational psychology, social and cultural psychology and human resource development research. He has won many awards at national, provincial and ministerial levels, and his research results have been widely used in enterprises, governmental agencies and the military, as well as in the selection, training and performance evaluation of high-level executives, pilots and astronauts. Prof. Shi came to work in SEM in 2006, and after his retirement, he still cares about the development of the School and contributes to the school, putting forward valuable suggestions.

Dean Yongmiao Hong accepted the donation on behalf of the School.

After the donation ceremony, Prof. Shi introduced his latest research, including natural environment evaluation, floating therapy on anxiety and sleep quality of patients with infectious diseases, adolescent psychological screening and crisis intervention.
