On March 27, 2024, Elsevier released the 2023 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers List. 9 SEM faculty were shortlisted in the disciplines of Management Science and Engineering, Applied Economics, Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management, Statistics and Mathematics.

Management Science and Engineering: Shouyang Wang, Yong Shi, Jianping Li, Jiancheng Guan, Desheng Wu

Applied Economics: Ling Tang

Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management: Linxiu Zhang

Statistics: Yongmiao Hong

Mathematics (Operations Management): Bo Liu

It is reported that a total of 5,801 persons from 496 universities, enterprises and research institutions are on the list, covering 84 first-tier disciplines. The list not only systematically shows the distribution of talents in China's scientific research field, but also accurately presents the composition and academic influence of the dominant disciplines of each organization and university.

The list is not only one of the important reflections of the strength and academic influence of universities and institutions, but also brings more opportunities for cooperation with top research teams at home and abroad.
