On the afternoon of Nov. 29, the 2014 Award Ceremony of Fudan Premium Fund of Management was held at the auditorium of Yuquan Campus, UCAS. Nearly 700 people attended the grand meeting. The participants included representatives from Fudan Premium Fund of Management, experts and scholars of domestic academia, and faculty and students of UCAS.
The Ceremony was chaired by Mr. Zhu zhiwen, the Vice President of Fudan Premium Fund of Management.
Mr. Ding zhongli, Vice President of CAS and President of UCAS, was present and addressed at the Ceremony. He greeted the guests to the meeting on behalf of CAS and UCAS, and congratulated on the winners of the Award. Ding Zhongli pointed out that more and more problems needed to be solved by management with wider reform in the economic field in China. Business management, financial management, social management, and public management needed innovation that meets China’s conditions. UCAS has always attached great importance to the construction of management subjects, devoting to training talent in economic management and public management. Ding Zhingli said that Fudan Premium Fund of Management choosing to hold the Award Ceremony at UCAS was an encouragement to the talent training in UCAS. Finally, Ding Zhongli wished success of the Ceremony and prosperity of Fudan Premium Fund of Management.
Following that, Mr. Xu Kuangdi, President of Fudan Premium Fund of Management, delivered a speech. On behalf of the Fund, he welcomed the guests to the Ceremony, thanked the experts who participated in the reviews of the award and UCAS for their supports. In his speech, Xu Kuangdi introduced the development of the Fund, and hoped that experts and scholars would contribute their achievements and ideas as usual in the future. He said that the Fund would continue to support research and exploration of scholars and contribute to the development of Chinese management science together.
Then Ms. Li Shantong, researcher of Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy of Development Research Center of the State Council, and Mr. Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier Group, each made a speech. Li Shantong talked about her reflections on the 13th Five-Year. Zhang Ruimin shared his experience of management transformation and business pattern innovation of Haier Group.
Mr. Xu Ningsheng, Vice President of the Fund and President of Fudan University, reported the work of the Fund in 2014. Mr. Wang Jiming, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Fund announced the list of prize winners.
Winners of Outstanding Contribution Award of Management were as follows: Ms. Li Shantong, researcher of Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy of Development Research Center of the State Council, Mr. Ma Jun, professor of School of Politics and Public Affairs of Zhongshan University, and Ms. Zhang Linxiu, researcher of Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy, CAS.
Winner of Outstanding Contribution Award of Enterprise Management was Mr. Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier Group.
Winner of Lifetime Achievement Award of Management was Mr. Cheng Siwei, Dean and Doctoral supervisor of School of Management, UCAS.
