On the evening of Nov. 18, the lecture “Enterprise Transformation and Management Innovation in Big Data Era” was held in Zhongguancun Teaching Building. Mr. Han Yongsheng, the Ex- Vice President of Youngor, was invited to give a lecture to students of School of Management.

How to make an enterprise survive long? Mr. Han started his lecture from this question, and put forward two necessary conditions. The first was growth of the enterprise profitability index, and the second was the cash flow.  Mr. Han pointed out that the continuous growth of profitability index was the fundamental condition for an enterprise to live long. How should an enterprise realize this goal?  Mr. Han analyzed the approaches with the example of the clothing enterprise: cut inventory and accounts payable. He also explained the main cause of inventory problem in the traditional manufacturing industry: flaw of cost accounting.

Mr. Han proposed to construct a new enterprise management system based on big data, and realize continuous growth of profitability index through real-time data analysis and sharing and corresponding management system.

Finally, Mr. Han looked into the future of the big data and raised the strategic idea of transforming the traditional manufacturing industry to service-oriented manufacturing industry. Mr. Han also answered questions from the audience. The lecture was ended in warm applause.
