It is reported that Professor Wang Feiyue was awarded Norbert Wiener Award in IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 2014 held on Oct. 15. He won the award owing to his pioneering contributions and outstanding achievements in the field of intelligent control and management of complex system. This is the first time that the award was won by Chinese scholars.

The award was set up in honor of Norbert Wiener, the founder of cybernetics. It is the highest award in this field. The award is managed by IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetic Society.
